Maria is a PhD student with a keen interest in social movements, focusing specifically on activism within the unique context of Lebanon. Her research aims to understand the different ways and reasons youth in Lebanon interact, react, and challenge the entrenched political system, particularly in the wake of the October 2019 uprising.
