PhD student to present "Community Organizing and the Reform of Japan’s Sex Crime Law in 2017" as part of Harvard panel, October 5.

PhD student Kanoko Kamata will participate in an October 5 panel "Civil Society and Policy Advocacy in Contemporary East Asia" through the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs (WCFIA) at Harvard University.  Kamata's presentation is titled "Community Organizing and the Reform of Japan’s Sex Crime Law in 2017."  The event is free and open to the public, though advance registration is required.
