Melanie Hughes awarded grant from the United Nations

Melanie Hughes and her collaborator Dr. Mü​ge Finkel (GSPIA) were awarded a grant from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in support of their research on gender equality in public administration (GEPA). Their interdisciplinary research team, which includes PhD students Natalia Duarte, Kanoko Kamata, and Katie Pataki, will work with UNDP to research and write a 2020 flagship report, to be launched at Pitt this September, and to support country reporting on UNDP's Sustainable Development Goal 16.7.1b.
